Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who were diagnosed with a stroke at least 6 months ago
- People with a Body Mass Index (BMI) over 30 (a measure of body weight relative to height, indicating obesity)
- People who still have some weakness or reduced movement in their lower limbs (legs) following the stroke
- People who are able to follow instructions, take part in training and testing sessions, and communicate when they are in pain, tired, or distressed

Who may not be able to join:

- People with certain unstable heart conditions, severe heart valve problems, chest pain, or shortness of breath while at rest or during everyday activities
- People who have been diagnosed with dementia
- People whose life expectancy is less than one year
- People who have had a blood clot in the leg or lungs within the past 6 months
- People with uncontrolled diabetes that has recently caused significant weight loss, diabetic coma, or frequent dangerous drops in blood sugar
- People with severely high blood pressure (above 200/110 mmHg) while at rest
- People who are currently enrolled in another rehabilitation trial aimed at improving movement or mental and emotional recovery
