• People in certain trial groups who have previously been treated with a small molecule HER2-blocking drug, a drug called T-DXd (trastuzumab deruxtecan), a drug called T-DM1 (trastuzumab emtansine), or a drug called capecitabine — the specific restrictions depend on which group applies (confirm with trial site).
• People who have brain metastases (cancer that has spread to the brain) that are active or causing symptoms, or disease affecting the lining around the brain and spinal cord.
• People whose heart's electrical activity shows a prolonged QT interval above a specific threshold on a resting heart tracing (confirm with trial site).
• People who have conditions that increase the risk of abnormal heart rhythms, such as heart failure, low potassium levels, a condition called long QT syndrome (either personal or inherited), or a family history of unexplained sudden death in someone under 40 years of age.
• People whose heart pumping function (ejection fraction) is below 50%, or below the normal range used by the testing facility, as measured within 28 days before joining the trial.
• People who have a history of non-infectious lung inflammation (interstitial lung disease or pneumonitis) that required steroid treatment, who currently have this condition, or where this condition cannot be ruled out based on scans done at the start of the trial.
