Who may not be able to join:

- People who are unable to complete thinking and memory tests — for example, due to blindness, deafness, or severe difficulty with language.
- People who have had a problem with drug misuse or alcohol dependency in the past 6 months.
- People who are currently taking part in another study focused on thinking or memory.
- People who have severe diabetes, or severe heart, blood vessel, liver, kidney, or psychiatric conditions.
- People who cannot safely undergo brain imaging — for example, those with claustrophobia, certain metal implants in the body (such as metal clips in the brain), or electronic medical devices (such as a pacemaker).
