Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have been diagnosed with breast cancer (including ductal carcinoma, invasive carcinoma, or triple negative breast cancer) and have had no cancer recurrence, OR people who have not had any cancer diagnosis in at least the last 15 years

  • People who regularly take beta-blocker medications or any drugs that affect how the nervous system works
  • People with a history of a second separate primary invasive cancer (for the cancer group), or people who have a serious ongoing chronic illness (for those without a cancer history)
  • People with any of the following heart conditions: a heart attack or heart bypass procedure within the last 3 months; uncontrolled high blood pressure; uncontrolled irregular heartbeat; significant heart valve disease; heart failure that is not well managed; or a known aortic aneurysm
