Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has either spread to other parts of the body or cannot be surgically removed, and lab tests have confirmed your cancer has a specific gene change called KRAS G12C.
- Your cancer can be measured on scans using a standard method called RECIST v1.1.
- You are generally able to carry out daily activities with little to no limitation (assessed using a standard health scale called ECOG performance status 0–1).
Who may not be able to join:
- You have had another type of cancer within the last 2 years (specific details should be confirmed with the trial site).
- You have cancer that has spread to the brain and it has not been treated, or it is not currently stable.
- You have a known allergy or serious reaction to the trial drug BBO-8520 or any of its ingredients.
- For certain groups within the trial (Cohorts 1b and 2b): you have a known allergy or serious reaction to a drug called pembrolizumab or any of its ingredients.
- For certain groups within the trial (Cohorts 1b and 2b): you have an active autoimmune disease, or a history of one that could come back (confirm with trial site).
- For certain groups within the trial (Cohorts 1b and 2b): you have a history of a lung condition involving scarring or inflammation that required steroid treatment, or you currently have this condition.
