Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (a specific type of lung cancer), confirmed by a lab test on a tissue or cell sample.
• Your lung cancer is either advanced (Stage IIIB or IIIC) and cannot be treated with surgery or chemotherapy/radiation to try to cure it, or it has spread to other parts of the body (Stage IV).
• You are able to provide either a stored tumor tissue sample taken within the last 5 years, or a new tissue sample from a tumor that has not been previously treated with radiation, for laboratory testing.
• If you had side effects from previous cancer treatments, those side effects have mostly or fully gone away.
• If you have HIV, it is well managed with medication.
• If you have Hepatitis B, you have been on treatment for it for at least 4 weeks and the virus is not detectable in your blood.
• If you have a history of Hepatitis C, the virus is not currently detectable in your blood.

Who may not be able to join:

• You have been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, or your tumor contains any small cell elements.
• You have active inflammatory bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis) that requires immune-suppressing medication, or you have a clear history of inflammatory bowel disease.
• You have a known history of, or currently have, a nervous system condition caused by your cancer (known as a paraneoplastic syndrome) (confirm with trial site).
• You currently have an active infection that requires treatment with medications taken throughout your body (such as antibiotics or antivirals).
• You have serious, uncontrolled heart or blood vessel disease, or uncontrolled brain or stroke-related conditions.
• You have certain eye conditions, including eye pressure above a certain level, glaucoma, specific retinal diseases, or other listed eye problems.
• You have already received systemic (whole-body) cancer treatment for your advanced or metastatic lung cancer.
• You have received high-dose radiation to your lungs within the past 6 months.
• You have received any radiation therapy within the past 2 weeks, or have not fully recovered from its side effects.
• You have active cancer that has spread to your brain or the lining around your brain and spinal cord.
• You have another cancer that is growing or has needed active treatment within the past 3 years.
• You have an autoimmune disease (where your immune system attacks your own body) that has needed systemic treatment within the past 2 years.
• You have a history of, or currently have, lung inflammation or scarring (pneumonitis or interstitial lung disease) that required or requires steroid treatment.
• You have HIV and also have a history of Kaposi's sarcoma or Multicentric Castleman's Disease.
• You have had an organ or tissue transplant from another person.
• You have not fully recovered from a recent major surgery.
