Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) using standard diagnostic guidelines
- You are between 40 and 85 years old (inclusive)
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 35 or below

- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding

- You have been hospitalised two or more times in the past 12 months due to a lung infection or a sudden worsening of your COPD
- You have a blood clotting disorder or a low platelet count
- You have had a heart attack or serious heart failure within the past 24 weeks
- You have previously had part of a lung removed, had lung volume reduction surgery, or received a lung transplant
- You are on blood-thinning medication that cannot be safely stopped before a procedure
- You have uncontrolled high blood pressure in the arteries of your lungs, or this condition was newly diagnosed within the past 12 weeks
- A recent heart function test (within the last 12 weeks) showed your heart's pumping ability is below 45%
- You have lung nodules that doctors have determined need treatment
- You are currently taking part in another clinical trial
- You have other medical conditions that make airway-related procedures unsuitable for you (confirm with trial site)
- The research team considers you unsuitable for the trial for any other reason
