Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 55 and 89 years old and identify as Hispanic or Latino/Latina
- You are able to take part in the study for up to 20 weeks
- You are okay with being randomly assigned to one of two program options in the study
- You are willing to follow the steps and procedures of whichever program you are assigned to
- You are available Monday through Friday to receive study phone calls between 8am and 5pm
- You are able to walk one block on your own without help
- You can speak and read Spanish or English

- You are willing to wear a small movement-tracking device (called an ActiGraph) for up to 2 weeks, on two separate occasions during the study
- You are willing to fill out study questionnaires online, on paper, or over the phone
- You have an email address and are willing to share it with the research team
- You have a US mailing address where you regularly receive mail
Who may not be able to join:
- You score too low on a short memory and thinking screening test (confirm with trial site)
- You are unable to hear a phone conversation, even when using a hearing aid
- You have surgeries or travel plans coming up that would get in the way of taking part
- You had a fall in the past year that led to a hospital stay
- You have been diagnosed with cancer that required treatment in the past year (not including skin cancer)
- You had a heart attack or were diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat in the past year
- Your doctor has recently told you to avoid physical activity
- You do not want your brain and thinking health information shared with researchers at UCSD
- You are unwilling to share or set up an email address
- You are currently taking part in another physical activity research study at a different institution
