Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who are 65 years of age or older, or people who are between 60 and 64 years old and are either not suitable for a stem cell transplant or have chosen not to have one

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have had another type of cancer in the past, unless there has been no sign of that cancer returning or spreading for at least two years before entering the trial
  • People who have significant digestive system problems that could affect how a tablet or capsule is absorbed by the body, or people who have had their entire stomach surgically removed
  • People whose reason for treatment is to reduce the size of their cancer before going on to have a stem cell transplant
  • People who have taken certain strong medications known to significantly interact with a liver enzyme called CYP3A within a specific time period before starting the trial, or who plan to take such medications during the trial (confirm with trial site for specific medications)
  • People whose lymphoma has spread to the central nervous system (the brain or spinal cord)
