  • People who have certain health conditions or circumstances that make shockwave treatment unsafe, such as cancer, blood clotting disorders, active infections in the treatment area, or having a cardiac pacemaker
  • People who have received shockwave therapy or botulinum toxin (commonly known as Botox) injections for stroke-related muscle stiffness within the past three months
  • People who have difficulties with thinking, awareness, or communication that would prevent them from taking part in the treatment sessions or completing the assessments
