Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have a tumor in the esophagus (the tube connecting the throat to the stomach) that has been confirmed or is suspected to be esophageal cancer
- People who had a generally good level of physical functioning at the time of treatment (rated 0–2 on a standard health scale used by doctors)
- People who are older than 18 years of age
- People whose cancer had not spread to distant parts of the body at the time of treatment
- People who received a combination of chemotherapy and radiation therapy before surgery, and who had or were planned to have their esophagus surgically removed, between 2015 and 2021 at one of the hospitals taking part in this trial
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose esophageal tumor was a specific type called sarcoma, neuro-endocrine carcinoma, or small cell carcinoma
- People who had their surgical procedure performed at a hospital that is not participating in this trial

Multivariable NTCP models will be developed for the prediction of the following; Cardiac events grade II or higher (CTCAE v 5.0), including:; Mortality; Complication Sum Score, that will be determined in Delphi consensus
