This trial is open to four different groups of people. You may qualify if you fall into one of these categories:

Group 1 – Cognitively Healthy Individuals:

  • Your memory and thinking abilities score within the normal range on standard cognitive tests.
  • You can speak and understand Thai fluently without needing a translator.

Group 2 – Mild Cognitive Impairment:

  • Your memory or thinking abilities score below the normal range on standard cognitive tests.
  • A doctor has determined that your difficulties do not yet reach the level of dementia.
  • You can speak and understand Thai fluently without needing a translator.

Group 3 – Late-Onset Dementia:

  • Your memory or thinking abilities score below the normal range on standard cognitive tests.
  • A doctor has formally diagnosed you with dementia (including Alzheimer's disease or other causes).
  • Your dementia symptoms first appeared after the age of 65.
  • You can speak and understand Thai fluently without needing a translator.

Group 4 – Early-Onset Dementia:

  • Your memory or thinking abilities score below the normal range on standard cognitive tests.
  • A doctor has formally diagnosed you with dementia (including Alzheimer's disease or other causes).
  • Your dementia symptoms first appeared before the age of 65.
  • You can speak and understand Thai fluently without needing a translator.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a significant neurological condition or a psychiatric illness that is not well controlled by treatment.
  • You have a serious, unstable physical health condition or an organ (such as the heart, liver, or kidneys) that is failing in a way that could affect your ability to take part in the study.
