Who might be able to join this trial:

Who may not be able to join:

• People who live somewhere other than their own home, such as a nursing home or long-term care facility
• People who have other ongoing lung diseases, with the exception of asthma
• People who have a condition that is expected to be life-limiting within the next year, such as advanced cancer, or who are receiving hospice care
• People who spend more than 2 months per year away from their home, or who plan to move within the next 12 months
• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• People who currently use an air cleaner in their home — although the trial site may still consider someone eligible if they are willing to stop using it and meet all other criteria
• People who are unable to have air cleaners (each weighing around 15 pounds) brought into their home, whether by themselves or with the help of a friend or family member
• People who the study team believes would have difficulty completing the study, including those unlikely to have reliable internet access
• People who are already taking part in another clinical trial that involves a treatment or intervention
