Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You currently practice Tai Chi
  • You have a serious medical condition (such as dementia, a significant neurological condition, active cancer treatment, psychosis, or significant sensory problems) that might make it unsafe for you to do Tai Chi (confirm with trial site)
  • You cannot walk without a cane or other walking aid
  • You have had a knee replacement in the past, or have one planned
  • You have reported severe depression based on a specific questionnaire score (confirm with trial site)
  • You have reported any thoughts of suicide based on a specific questionnaire (confirm with trial site)
  • You do not speak English
  • You have taken part in another clinical trial within the last 30 days
