Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) thought to be caused by Alzheimer's Disease
• People who have been diagnosed with mild Alzheimer's Dementia
• People who have MCI but have not been formally diagnosed with dementia
• Healthy individuals (with no cognitive impairment) who are willing to participate as a comparison group

Who may not be able to join:

• Healthy control participants who have diabetes (this exclusion applies to the healthy control group only)
• People who have epilepsy
• People whose depression scores are very high, specifically above 11 on the Geriatric Depression Scale or above 20 on the Beck Depression Inventory
• People whose anxiety scores are very high, specifically above 22 on the Beck Anxiety Inventory
• People who have a significant psychiatric or medical condition (confirm with trial site)
• People who drink alcohol to excess
• People whose brain MRI scan shows a moderate to severe level of white matter changes (a type of change seen on brain scans), rated above 2 on the Fazekas scale
• People whose vision or movement difficulties are severe enough to prevent them from completing the trial's virtual reality task
