Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have had a stroke affecting one side of the brain (either a bleed or a blockage), confirmed by a brain scan, and it happened at least 3 months ago
  • You are able to walk at least 10 metres, even if you need some help or support to do so

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have been diagnosed with a significant thinking or memory problem, a vision disorder, or a heart or breathing condition (including having a pacemaker, heart failure, or an irregular heartbeat)
  • You have had an orthopaedic (bone or joint) procedure related to the affected limb (confirm with trial site)
  • You have balance problems linked to an inner ear condition
  • You have a skin condition or disease
  • You have received Botulinum toxin (such as Botox) injections as a treatment within the last year
  • You have taken part in another research study within the last six months that could affect the results of this trial
