Who might be able to join this trial:
- Women aged 18 or older
- Women who have gone through menopause and whose doctor considers them suitable to take a type of hormone-blocking medication called an aromatase inhibitor
- People diagnosed with a specific type of breast cancer (adenocarcinoma, stages 0 to III) that has been confirmed by a tissue sample, and whose cancer tests positive for estrogen and/or progesterone receptors (hormone-sensitive cancer), with any HER2 status
- People who have not yet received chemotherapy or hormone therapy for their current breast cancer — though people who previously took certain medications (tamoxifen, raloxifene, or similar) to prevent breast cancer may still be considered
- People who are willing to avoid facial treatments — including facials, wrinkle injections, fillers, and laser treatments — for the duration of the study
- People who are willing and able to give informed consent to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously taken aromatase inhibitors (a type of hormone-blocking medication)
- People who have used prescription-strength tretinoin (a skin treatment), wrinkle-relaxing injections, dermal fillers, facial laser treatments, microneedling, or professional facials within the 6 months before signing the study consent form
