Who might be able to join this trial:
People living with memory challenges:
- You are 45 years of age or older
- You have memory problems or difficulties with thinking
- You have access to a phone (mobile or landline) and are able to use it
Study partners (someone who joins alongside the person with memory challenges):
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You speak Spanish or English
- You have been chosen by the person with memory challenges as someone they feel comfortable with and would like to have in the study with them
Outdoor activity professionals:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You have at least 1 year of experience leading or providing outdoor activities
Who may not be able to join:
(For people living with memory challenges)
- You have heart failure with symptoms beyond feeling completely normal during everyday activities, such as unusual tiredness, a racing heart, or shortness of breath (confirm with trial site)
- You have a heart condition where your heartbeat is irregular and is difficult to control
- You have coronary artery disease (blocked arteries in the heart) that is difficult to control
- Your doctor has told you not to do physical activity because of a heart condition or any other medical condition
- You are currently having cancer treatment that involves regular infusion chemotherapy (given through a drip/IV) or daily radiation treatments
- Your doctor has told you not to do physical activity because of your cancer, cancer treatment, or any other medical condition
- You have blacked out, fainted, or lost consciousness due to a head injury in the past 12 months
- You regularly experience signs of low blood sugar (such as shakiness, dizziness, or confusion) after exercise or daily activities
- You have been hospitalised 2 or more times in the past 6 months
