Who might be able to join this trial:

- People who have been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) — a long-term lung condition that makes it hard to breathe — based on internationally recognised guidelines.

- People who are mentally alert, have normal thinking and memory, and are able to communicate in Mandarin or Taiwanese to understand the study instructions.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who already exercise regularly — meaning at least 3 times a week for more than 30 minutes — and feel only mildly short of breath during that exercise.
- People who have completed a formal lung rehabilitation program within the last 3 months.
- People for whom vibration therapy is not considered safe, including those who are pregnant, have heart conditions (such as a pacemaker or stent), spine disc problems, tendon or joint inflammation, a hernia, a tumour, bone or injury-related conditions, epilepsy, a history of blood clots in the legs, or any implanted medical devices inside the body.
- People who are unable to exercise or walk due to physical limitations, such as being confined to bed for a long time, depending on a breathing machine long-term, frequently experiencing dizziness, or having a nervous system condition (confirm with trial site).
- People who have had surgery on their legs or lower limbs within the past year, or who are still recovering from such surgery.
- People who currently have a cancer diagnosis or are receiving cancer treatment.
- People who are currently participating in another research study.
