Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be over 18 years of age.
- You were able to take care of yourself and do everyday tasks on your own before your stroke.
- You are currently a patient (either staying at the facility or visiting as an outpatient) at Adi-Negev Nahalat-Eran rehabilitation center.
- You have had either your first stroke, or a previous stroke that did not leave you with any lasting disability before this most recent stroke.
- You are in a stable enough medical condition to participate.
- You are able to understand and agree to take part in the study on your own.
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a progressive or degenerative brain or nerve condition, a muscle disease, or Polio that is not caused by your stroke (note: diabetes-related nerve changes are generally not a reason to be excluded — confirm with trial site).
- You have had a traumatic brain injury (such as a head injury from an accident) or bleeding outside the brain.
- You have a significant mental health condition, including serious problems with alcohol or drug use.
- You have a serious bone or joint condition, such as an amputation or severe pain that limits your movement, or a long-term chronic pain condition.
- You are already taking part in another clinical study that involves a treatment or intervention.
