Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have given their written agreement to take part before any study-related procedures begin.
- People whose asthma has been officially confirmed as a severe case by the National Health Insurance Administration or by a member of the study review board.
- People who are 18 years of age or older, male or female.
- People who have been receiving treatment with omalizumab, mepolizumab, or benralizumab (a type of biologic medicine for asthma) starting from January 1, 2020 or later.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have not provided written agreement to participate in the study.
- People who received any biologic medicine before January 1, 2020.
- People who received a biologic treatment, or took part in a related clinical trial, within at least 12 months before starting their current biologic medicine (a clear gap of at least 12 months is required before starting the biologic being studied).
- People who have other lung conditions — such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchiectasis, or pulmonary fibrosis — or risk factors such as smoking or significant environmental exposures that may be linked to lung or whole-body diseases beyond asthma.
