  • You are a man or woman between 50 and 85 years old (inclusive) and have been diagnosed with wet age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD)
  • You have previously been treated for wet AMD with anti-VEGF eye injections, your eye responded to that treatment, and you received at least 2 of these injections in the study eye in the 6 months before screening
  • Your vision in the study eye (the eye being treated) falls within a specific range — roughly between 20/25 and 20/400 on a standard eye chart
  • Your vision in your other eye meets a minimum level set by the study (confirm with trial site)
  • If you are female, you must have gone through menopause at least 1 year ago

  • Your study eye has a cause of abnormal blood vessel growth other than wet AMD, or another eye condition (such as diabetic eye disease or a blocked retinal vein) that could affect your central vision or eye examination results
  • You have any condition in the study eye that would prevent your vision from improving, such as scarring, tissue hardening, or tissue loss in the central part of the retina
  • You have a significant amount of bleeding under the retina in the study eye — either covering 50% or more of the affected area, or a larger bleed directly under the central part of the retina
  • You have bleeding inside the gel-like fluid of the study eye, or have had this type of bleeding in the past
  • You have an implant in the study eye (other than an artificial lens), or cloudiness or narrowing of the pupil that makes it difficult to examine the back of the eye
  • You have a history of, or currently have, a detached retina or detached choroid (the layer beneath the retina) in the study eye
