Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 to 80 years old
- Women who have been diagnosed with Stage 0 to Stage 3 breast cancer, confirmed by biopsy
- Women whose surgical team has recommended breast reconstruction at the time of mastectomy, or oncoplastic surgery at the time of lumpectomy (a procedure to reshape the breast after tumour removal)
- People who currently use nicotine products of any kind and have reported using them within the past month
- People who are willing to follow all study-related procedures and requirements
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose surgeon has determined they are not suitable for reconstruction or oncoplastic surgery for reasons such as a BMI over 35, a diagnosis of inflammatory breast cancer, or other clinical concerns at the surgeon's discretion
- People who are currently imprisoned, involuntarily incarcerated, or held under a legal order for treatment of a psychiatric or physical illness
- People who are unable to complete the study sessions due to language, travel, or technology barriers
- People who are already taking part in another nicotine or smoking cessation program
- People who are currently pregnant
