Group 1 – Systemic Sclerosis patients:

Group 3 – Healthy volunteers:

  • You meet the standard requirements to donate blood under French regulations (as of January 2022)
  • You have no history of autoimmune, chronic inflammatory, or chronic metabolic conditions
  • You have no current or past history of cancer
  • You have not taken anti-inflammatory medicines or steroids in the last 15 days
  • You have not had any infection or acute inflammatory illness in the last 15 days
  • You agree to take part in the study

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are under 18 years old
  • You are legally protected or considered a vulnerable person under the law (confirm with trial site)
  • You do not agree to take part after being given full information about the study
  • You have had an infection or sudden inflammatory illness in the 15 days before joining the study
  • You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
