Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be 18 years of age or older
- You must be able to speak and understand English
- You must have had a stroke (either a blockage-type or bleeding-type stroke) at least 6 months before joining the study
- You must have a moderate level of arm and hand weakness or difficulty following your stroke (confirmed by a specific movement assessment)
- You may or may not have difficulty noticing things on one side of your body, which is sometimes called spatial neglect
Who may not be able to join:
- You may not be eligible if your arm muscles are significantly stiff or tense (a condition called spasticity), above a certain level as measured by a standard test (confirm with trial site)
- You may not be eligible if you are unable to communicate well enough to understand and agree to take part in the study
- You may not be eligible if you have serious vision problems
- You may not be eligible if you are currently receiving occupational therapy outside of this study
- You may not be eligible if you are pregnant or if you are currently incarcerated
