- You have been officially diagnosed with anorexia nervosa (including atypical anorexia nervosa) by a mental health professional using standard diagnostic guidelines
- You are willing to have at least one support person (such as a family member or friend) take part in the treatment with you
- You are currently in a stable physical health condition
Who may not be able to join:
- You have an intellectual or developmental disability, or a condition such as psychosis or other serious mental health condition that may make it difficult to take part in the study (confirm with trial site)
- You have been diagnosed with an alcohol or drug use disorder within the 3 months before the study starts
- You are currently receiving inpatient (hospital-based) care — you would need to be discharged and already receiving outpatient (community-based) care before you could join
