Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer for the first time (not a recurring or second diagnosis)
- People who have been receiving hormone therapy (to reduce testosterone) and/or hormone-blocking medication for more than 6 months
- Men aged between 55 and 85 years old
- People who are able to stand up on their own without needing help or support
- People with little to no golf experience (played fewer than 5 times in the last 10 years)
- People who speak English
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have been diagnosed with a second type of cancer (not including minor, non-invasive skin cancers), or whose prostate cancer has spread to the bones
- People who had their prostate surgically removed less than 6 months before joining the study (note: having had this surgery is not required to participate)
- People with active or poorly controlled heart conditions, including chest pain (angina), high blood pressure above certain levels, a resting heart rate above 90 beats per minute, or dizziness caused by changes in blood pressure when standing
- People with unstable or recently worsened asthma or chronic lung disease (COPD)
- People who have had an injury or bone/joint surgery in the last 6 months
- People with movement or neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease, or conditions affecting movement on one or both sides of the body
- People with severe vision or hearing difficulties
