Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 0 to 35 years old who have been diagnosed with cancer, such as leukaemia, lymphoma, bone tumours, brain or nervous system tumours, sarcoma, or blood/bone marrow conditions, including paediatric patients who are having a bone marrow transplant
- People who have any illness or are about to receive a treatment — such as major abdominal surgery, strong medications, or other therapies — that could permanently affect their ability to have children in the future
- People with hormone-sensitive cancers who are about to undergo treatments such as radiotherapy or chemotherapy that could damage the ovaries and affect the ability to conceive later in life
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are not expected to receive any cancer treatment
- People who are currently pregnant
- Children who have only one ovary
- Children considered to be at high risk of complications during or around surgery
- People who are unable to give consent or agreement to take part, for example due to significant mental health conditions or cognitive difficulties (confirm with trial site)
