Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have previously had radiation therapy to the prostate bed area, with or without treatment to the pelvic lymph node regions
  • People whose prostate cancer has come back in the prostate bed area, confirmed by biopsy, MRI scan, and/or a PSMA-PET scan
  • People who have had at least two PSA blood test results in a row that are rising after radiation therapy, with a PSA level above 0.2 ng/dl
  • People whose PSA level has been taking more than 6 months to double from its lowest recorded point, whether or not they are on hormone therapy
  • People with a general health and activity level rated as ECOG 0–2, meaning they are able to carry out normal daily activities or are up and about more than half of waking hours (confirm with trial site)
  • People aged 18 years or older

Who may not be able to join:

  • People whose scans (such as PSMA-PET, CT, MRI, or bone scan) show that the cancer has spread to distant parts of the body
  • People who have previously experienced severe (grade 3 or higher) side effects affecting the bowel or urinary system as a result of radiation therapy
  • People for whom MRI scanning or brachytherapy (a type of internal radiation treatment) is medically unsuitable for any reason
