Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 to 69 years old, of any gender
- People diagnosed with Peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) according to 2016 WHO standards, who also meet at least one of the following: their disease is considered high-risk based on a scoring system used by doctors (IPI score of 3 or higher, or aaIPI score of 2 or higher for those under 60), OR their lymphoma responded fully or partially to their first round of chemotherapy
- People who have a suitable stem cell donor available — a related donor must match on at least 5 out of 10 specific genetic markers, and an unrelated donor must match on at least 8 out of 10 of those same markers
- People whose overall health before transplant is assessed as having a low number of serious pre-existing conditions (a specialist scoring system gives a result of 2 or lower)
- People whose general physical ability and daily functioning is rated as reasonably good by their doctor (on a standard scale, scoring 0, 1, or 2 out of 4)
- People whose liver, kidneys, heart, and lungs are functioning well enough to meet specific medical thresholds (the trial site will assess this)
- People who are willing and able to understand the study details and sign a consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose PTCL does not meet the high-risk criteria described above
- People with a specific type of PTCL (ALK-positive) whose lymphoma completely disappeared after their first round of chemotherapy
- People who have had a different cancer (other than certain skin cancers, early-stage cervical cancer, localised prostate cancer, or a specific type of early breast condition) within the past 5 years
- People whose general physical functioning is rated as significantly impaired by their doctor (scoring 3 or higher on the standard scale)
- People whose pre-transplant health assessment shows a higher number of serious pre-existing conditions (specialist scoring gives a result of 3 or higher)
- People with unstable or serious ongoing health conditions, such as recent stroke or mini-stroke (within 3 months), recent heart attack (within 3 months), severe heart failure, serious heart rhythm problems, or significant liver, kidney, metabolic, or lung blood pressure problems
- People with an active, uncontrolled infection
- People who are HIV-positive
- People with active Hepatitis B or Hepatitis C that currently requires antiviral treatment
- People with a history of autoimmune disease
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who are capable of having children but are unwilling to use contraception during treatment and for 12 months after treatment ends
