- People who have been diagnosed with certain forms of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) — a condition affecting the back of the eye — in either eye, as determined by an eye specialist through examination or eye scan (OCT) results.
- People whose blood test results show significant abnormalities, as judged by the trial doctors.
- People whose heart electrical activity test (ECG) shows an irregular heart rhythm or certain abnormal readings, including a specific measurement called QTcF that exceeds set limits (above 450 ms for males or above 470 ms for females), as determined by the trial doctors.
