Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years old or older
- You have been diagnosed with an ischemic stroke (a stroke caused by a blood clot blocking blood flow to the brain) that started within the last 36 hours
- You have some measurable weakness or movement problems in your arms or legs as a result of the stroke, measured using a standard medical scale
- Your doctors have decided to treat your stroke without using clot-busting drugs or procedures to remove the clot
- You are planned to receive either a specific medication called Cytoflavin® for at least 10 days, another brain-protective medication for at least 10 days, or no brain-protective medication at all
- You have signed a form agreeing to take part in the study
Who may not be able to join:
- You are in a coma at the time of enrolling in the trial
- Before your stroke, you already had significant disability that meant you needed help with everyday activities
- You have a history of Parkinson's disease, dementia, multiple sclerosis, or other conditions that already affect your nervous system
- You have a serious illness where doctors expect you may not live longer than 6 months
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have any other serious medical or mental health condition that could affect your ability to safely take part or to fully agree to participation (confirm with trial site)

Percentage of patients with favorable functional outcome (score 0-2) according to Modified Rankin Scale (mRS) on Day of Discharge (assessment at Visit 4 or Visit 5, on Day of Discharge) and on Day 90;
