Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have had your first-ever stroke affecting one side of the brain (not the lower brain), and it happened no more than 5 months ago
- You are at least 18 years old
- You are expected to remain as an inpatient (staying in the hospital or rehabilitation centre) for at least 4 more weeks
- You are able to sit up on your own without support
- You have some weakness or movement difficulties in one arm and hand, at a specific level measured by a standardised arm movement test (confirm with trial site for exact scoring details)
Who may not be able to join:
- You have severe difficulty understanding written language, based on a specific language comprehension test where you score below 24 out of 32 (confirm with trial site)
