Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You have been diagnosed with one of these types of glaucoma: primary open angle glaucoma, pigmentary glaucoma, or pseudoexfoliation glaucoma
- Your eye pressure is not well controlled even when taking the maximum amount of glaucoma medication you can tolerate
- Eye scans have shown that the nerve fiber layer at the back of your eye is getting progressively thinner over time
- Your vision has been getting worse due to increasing blind spots or vision loss related to glaucoma
- You have a cataract that is affecting your vision AND your doctor has recommended that your eye pressure needs to be lowered or your glaucoma medications reduced
Who may not be able to join:
- You have been diagnosed with a different type of glaucoma, such as neovascular glaucoma, angle-closure glaucoma, or glaucoma caused by eye inflammation (uveitic glaucoma)
- You have had previous surgery for glaucoma
- You have a pre-existing condition that affects the blood pressure around your eye, such as Graves' eye disease, Sturge-Weber syndrome, or certain abnormal connections between arteries and veins in the head (such as a carotid-cavernous fistula) (confirm with trial site)
