Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who are aged 60 years or older
  • People who have had a lacunar stroke (a specific type of small stroke) at some point between 3 months and 10 years before the screening appointment, confirmed by brain imaging or clinical records reviewed by a specialist stroke doctor

  • People with significant cognitive (thinking and memory) difficulties, based on a standard test score (Mini Mental State Examination score of 26 or below at follow-up)
  • People who do not have access to internet-based technology, or who have significant difficulty using technology in a way that would affect their ability to follow the trial program
  • People with any major physical or psychiatric health condition that the treating doctor believes could prevent them from safely taking part in an exercise program
