  • You have been diagnosed with alopecia areata (a condition causing hair loss) by a certified skin doctor, and your doctor has already prescribed you a medication called ritlecitinib as part of your normal treatment

  • You have another scalp condition (such as scalp psoriasis or dermatitis) or another ongoing illness (such as lupus or thyroid inflammation) that could affect how hair loss is measured in this study
  • You have previously been treated with ritlecitinib or any similar type of medication known as a JAK inhibitor
  • You work at the clinic running this study, work for the company sponsoring it (Pfizer), or are a close family member of someone who does
