Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 10 and older who have already been diagnosed with Crohn's disease
- People who are already scheduled to have a magnetic resonance enterography (MRE) scan — a type of MRI scan that looks at the intestines — for one of the following reasons: to check on intestinal inflammation, to look at a known or suspected narrowing in the bowel, or to look at a known or suspected internal complication of Crohn's disease
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are having their first scan to find out whether they have Crohn's disease, where the diagnosis has not yet been confirmed
- People who have only recently been diagnosed with Crohn's disease and are having their first baseline scan
- People whose Crohn's disease only affects the large bowel (colon), with no involvement of the small bowel
- People who are pregnant or may be pregnant
- People for whom an MRI scan is not medically safe (confirm with trial site)
- People who have had a surgical opening in the abdomen for the bowel (ileostomy) or who have had part of their small bowel removed
- People under 10 years of age
- People who are not able or not willing to follow the scanning procedures required by the study
- People who do not speak English
