Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are between 25 and 70 years old
  • If joining as a "normal" (non-glaucoma) participant: you have no current or past eye conditions that could affect your vision or visual field, such as retina problems, glaucoma, cataracts, or keratoconus
  • If joining as a "normal" participant: you have not had any eye surgery (other than cataract surgery) in the 6 months before the study visit
  • If joining as a glaucoma participant: you have been diagnosed with primary open-angle glaucoma
  • If joining as a glaucoma participant: you have no other eye conditions (beyond glaucoma) that could affect your visual field
  • If joining as a glaucoma participant: you have not had any eye surgery other than glaucoma or cataract surgery in the 6 months before the study visit
  • If joining as a glaucoma participant: your eye pressure reading is between 10 and 30 mm/Hg
  • Your glasses or contact lens prescription falls within a certain range: short-sightedness up to -6.00, long-sightedness up to +3.00, and astigmatism up to -3.00 (confirm with trial site if unsure)
  • You are able to sit for a standard visual field test and wear a virtual reality headset device used in the study

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have had laser or surgical refractive eye surgery in the past (such as LASIK or LASEK)
  • You use multifocal contact lenses or have certain types of implanted lenses in your eye, such as multifocal or phakic (ICL) intraocular lenses
  • You do not have at least one eye that meets the study requirements
  • You are unable to sit for a standard visual field bowl exam or cannot wear the virtual reality headset used in the study
