Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are willing to take part and sign a consent form before any study procedures begin.

  • You have been diagnosed with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's disease) according to recognised international diagnostic guidelines.
  • You have a confirmed genetic change (mutation) in the SOD1 gene.

  • If you are already taking riluzole or edaravone (common ALS medications), you have been on a steady, unchanged dose for at least 30 days before the study starts and plan to stay on that dose throughout the study.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a specific type of SOD1 gene mutation known as p.F21C (confirm with trial site).
  • You have received another experimental drug, biological treatment, or medical device within the past month or within a certain timeframe based on how long that treatment stays in the body — whichever is longer.
  • You have previously received treatments such as small interfering RNA therapy, stem cell therapy, or gene therapy.
  • You are currently taking part in another clinical trial that involves a treatment or intervention.
  • You have a history of, or have tested positive for, HIV, hepatitis C, or hepatitis B.
  • You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
