Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 1 year of age or older
- You are willing to give your consent to participate in the study
- You are well enough to carry out some daily activities (your doctor can confirm this based on your overall health score)
- Your doctor expects you to live for more than 6 months
- For parts 1–3 of the trial: you have been diagnosed with lung, prostate, or colorectal cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (shown on scans), with between 1 and 10 sites of spread, and this is a new metastatic diagnosis
- For part 4 of the trial: you have any type of cancer that has spread, including blood cancers if they have been confirmed by biopsy and are being considered for salvage radiotherapy; you may have 1–10 sites of spread, or limited new growth in 5 or fewer sites
- Your cancer has been restaged (re-evaluated with scans) within roughly the past 3 months before joining the trial
- If you are receiving radiation to the chest area, your doctor must confirm there are no signs of a scarring lung condition on your scans — or you must be assessed by a lung specialist first (confirm with trial site)
- If you could become pregnant, you must agree to use appropriate birth control during the study, and must tell your doctor immediately if you become pregnant or suspect pregnancy
Who may not be able to join:
- You have no available standard drug/medication treatment options, or you are refusing standard treatment alongside the trial
- You have had chemotherapy or radiation therapy within the past 3 weeks (or 6 weeks for certain specific chemotherapy drugs) before joining, or you are still experiencing side effects from previous treatment
- You have serious health conditions that would make radiotherapy unsafe — for example, a scarring lung disease if chest radiation is needed, Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis if the bowel area would be treated, or certain immune/connective tissue diseases like lupus or scleroderma
- You have liver metastases (cancer spread to the liver) along with moderate or severe liver problems (confirm with trial site)
- You have previously had radiation treatment in an area that would significantly overlap with the new radiation planned — though prior radiation is not automatically disqualifying (confirm with trial site)
- You have a build-up of cancerous fluid around your lungs
- Not all of your cancer sites can be treated with radiation
- Your cancer has spread into the digestive tract (such as the esophagus, stomach, or bowel) or into the skin
- You have been diagnosed with cancer that has spread to the brain
- You have an uncontrolled serious illness, such as an active infection, heart failure, unstable chest pain, irregular heartbeat, or a mental health or personal situation that would make it hard to follow the study requirements
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
