• People with a history of head injury, stroke, or other conditions affecting the brain or nervous system.
• People whose brain scans show structural abnormalities in the brain.
• People with a history of seizures or episodes of unexplained loss of consciousness.
• People who have an implanted medical device such as a pacemaker, medication pump, vagal nerve stimulator, or deep brain stimulator.
• People with a family history of epilepsy that has not responded to medication.
• People who have had issues with substance misuse within the last 6 months.
