Who might be able to join this trial:
- You visited your GP about knee pain that was not caused by a recent injury
- Your GP assessed your knee pain as being related to soft tissue issues or early wear-and-tear changes in the knee joint
- You are between 35 and 69 years old (inclusive)
Who may not be able to join:
- You recently had a significant injury to your knee that likely caused serious damage to the tissues
- Your knee condition meets the standard medical criteria for established knee osteoarthritis (confirm with trial site)
- An X-ray has shown moderate or advanced wear-and-tear changes in your knee
- Your knee is severely swollen, locked, or a ligament injury is suspected based on a physical examination
- You have been diagnosed with an inflammatory type of arthritis (such as rheumatoid arthritis)
- You have had surgery or a significant injury to the affected knee within the last 2 years
- You are pregnant
- You are not able to communicate in English
- You would prefer to see a physiotherapist privately before attending the trial's recommended care session
