Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with a stroke, based on the World Health Organization's definition of stroke
• You have some movement ability in your upper arm/hand, rated at stage 3 or higher on a standard movement scale called the Brunnstrom scale
• You have a good enough level of thinking and memory, shown by scoring 22 or above on a standard mental ability test called the Mini Mental Test
• You are able to sit in a balanced position without falling
• You or a family member has signed a consent form agreeing to take part in the study

Who may not be able to join:

• You have severe difficulty with speaking or understanding language (severe aphasia)
• You have been diagnosed with a significant thinking or memory problem, or a mental health condition
• You have a condition where you are unaware of one side of your body or surroundings (called "neglect") (confirm with trial site)
• You have a loss of vision affecting half of your visual field in one or both eyes (called hemianopsia)
• You have significant muscle stiffness (spasticity) in the affected arm, rated 3 or above on a standard stiffness scale called the Modified Ashworth Scale
