Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have had one ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke (confirmed by brain imaging) between 3 and 9 months before joining the trial
• People whose arm movement on the affected side falls within a specific range on a standard motor scoring test (Fugl-Meyer arm score between 19 and 55), indicating partial weakness (confirm with trial site)

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have been hospitalised for a heart attack, heart failure, or heart surgery within the past 3 months
• People who have an irregular heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia)
• People who have a condition where the heart muscle is abnormally thick (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy)
• People who have had more than one stroke
• People who are currently receiving physical or occupational therapy, or who are already enrolled in another interventional research study
• People who have severe narrowing of the main heart valve (severe aortic stenosis)
• People who have an untreated blood clot in a vein or in the lungs
• People who have unstable chest pain (unstable angina)
• People whose blood pressure is not well controlled
• People who have an implanted pacemaker or defibrillator
• People who experience shortness of breath while at rest
• People who have a significant neurological condition or diagnosis other than stroke
• People with a recent history of illicit drug or alcohol misuse, or a significant mental health condition
• People who have significant joint stiffness or tightening of muscles (contractures)
• People who have received an anti-spasticity injection (such as Botox) within 3 months before joining the trial
• People who have metal hardware in their skull (such as screws or plates) or who have had previous brain surgery, which could interfere with brain activity measurements
• People who have any other medical reason that prevents them from safely exercising or undergoing brain activity monitoring (confirm with trial site)
