For Part 1 (records-based group):

  • You received treatment for an eating disorder at Uppsala University Hospital between 2005 and 2007, and agreed at that time to be included in a local health registry.

For Part 2, 3, and 4 (ongoing severe eating disorder group):

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have had eating disorder symptoms that significantly affect your daily life for at least seven years.
  • You have tried at least one recognized treatment for your eating disorder, but either did not recover or recovered and then relapsed.

Who may not be able to join:

For the ongoing severe eating disorder group:

  • Your eating disorder symptoms are severe enough to require emergency medical care right now.
  • You are currently considered to be at high risk of suicide.
  • You are not able to complete questionnaires written in Swedish.
