  • People whose breast cancer has spread to distant parts of the body (Stage IV or metastatic cancer)
  • People who have cancer in both breasts
  • People who have already received radiation therapy or surgery (other than a needle biopsy) to the affected lymph nodes above the collarbone before joining the trial
  • People with a history of breast cancer or any other cancer, except for those who have been fully cured of certain skin cancers or early-stage cervical cancer
  • People with serious heart, brain, liver, or kidney conditions that would make surgery or radiation therapy too risky
  • People with a history of immune system problems, including a positive HIV diagnosis, other immune deficiency conditions, or a history of organ transplant
  • People with other serious health conditions that could interfere with the planned treatment, or anyone the research team considers unsuitable for any other reason
