Who might be able to join this trial:

- People who have been diagnosed with early or intermediate dry age-related macular degeneration, geographic atrophy, or who have healthy eyes (for the control group)
- People who are at least 50 years of age
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable or unwilling to give consent, or who are unable to read the consent forms (as the study involves reading-based tests)

- People who have significant cloudiness or opacity in the cornea or eye that would prevent clear eye imaging and functional testing
- People who have been diagnosed with nystagmus (involuntary eye movements) that would interfere with testing
- People with high short-sightedness of -8 Diopters or more severe
- People who have, in the opinion of the study doctor, any physical or mental health condition that could increase the risks of taking part or interfere with the study's tests and assessments
