Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have read, understood, and signed the consent and privacy forms for the study
- You are older than 12 years of age
- You have been diagnosed with severe asthma, meaning you are already taking strong asthma medications (high-dose inhaled steroids plus at least one other controller medication, OR oral steroid tablets for more than 6 months per year)
- Despite being on these medications (or if your treatment were reduced), at least one of the following applies to you: your asthma symptoms are poorly controlled based on a standard questionnaire score; you have had 2 or more asthma attacks in the past 12 months; you have been hospitalised or needed breathing support for an asthma attack in the past 12 months; or your lung function test result is below 80% of the expected level (confirm with trial site)

- The trial designers have chosen not to apply any exclusion criteria, in order to get a realistic picture of severe asthma as it occurs in everyday life
