Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older, of any gender
- People whose main diagnosis is advanced, severely symptomatic knee osteoarthritis in one knee only, where the joint has reached end-stage deterioration
- People whose knee function score (measured using a standard tool called the Knee Society Score) falls within a specific range before surgery — not too high and not too low (confirm with trial site)
- People who the trial doctor believes can understand the study, take part in all required procedures, and attend all follow-up appointments at the hospital

Who may not be able to join:
- People who, in the trial doctor's opinion, have an existing health condition that could affect their ability to take part or attend follow-ups
- People with known drug or alcohol dependency, or psychological disorders that could affect follow-up care or treatment results
- People who have taken part in another clinical study involving an investigational product within the last 6 months
- People who have other significant disabling conditions affecting the muscles or skeleton beyond the knee (for example, muscular dystrophy, polio, or nerve-related joint conditions)
- People with known osteoporosis or a history of fractures caused by osteoporosis
- People with a current or past history of cancer, active or suspected infection, certain bone or blood diseases, a weakened immune system, rheumatoid arthritis, sickle cell anaemia, or lupus
- People assessed by the trial doctor as being in a higher-risk health category for anaesthesia (classified as ASA Grade III or IV — confirm with trial site)
- People who have a condition affecting nerve or muscle function in a way that reduces feeling or movement
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People whose leg alignment is more than 20 degrees out of the normal position (either bowing inward or outward)
- People whose arthritis is caused by inflammation or a previous injury, rather than primary wear-and-tear
- People whose knee cannot straighten fully, with a fixed bend of more than 20 degrees
- People whose knee bends backwards (hyperextends) by 5 degrees or more
- People who have previously had surgery on the affected knee, including knee replacement, partial knee replacement, bone-realignment surgery, ligament reconstruction, joint fusion, or internal fixation surgery
- People who have already had, or are scheduled to have, a full or partial knee replacement on the other knee within one year before or after the study surgery
- People who show signs of active or suspected infection at the time of surgery
