Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are between 18 and 64 years old
  • Your eating disorder treatment has not changed in the past 4 weeks
  • You are willing to not seek other eating disorder treatments during the study (unless your symptoms get worse and it becomes necessary)
  • You have not had weight-loss (bariatric) surgery and are not planning to have it during the study
  • You are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding, and do not plan to become pregnant or breastfeed during the study
  • You own an Apple or Android smartphone (required to use the apps in this study)
  • You currently live in the continental United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska)
  • You have been diagnosed with binge eating disorder (BED) or bulimia nervosa (BN), which involves eating an unusually large amount of food with a feeling of loss of control, happening at least once a week over the past 3 months

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are younger than 18 or older than 64
  • Your eating disorder treatment has changed in the last 4 weeks
  • You plan to use other eating disorder treatments during the study
  • You have had or are planning to have weight-loss (bariatric) surgery
  • You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, or plan to be during the study
  • You do not own an Apple or Android smartphone
  • You do not live in the continental United States
  • You do not currently have binge eating disorder or bulimia nervosa
